Welcome to the Westwindphoto page. On display are prime examplesof the striped bass, bluefish and giant fluke that we catch
in the waters of RaritanBay and the Atlantic Ocean.
These fish range from the upper “reach” of
Raritan Bayto the tip ofSandy Hook, down the beach to the Highlands
Bridge, further south to the Shrewsbury Rocks, Deal Rocks, Asbury
Park, Belmar and beyond. Many times we will be clam chumming near
Romar Shoals (between
New York harbor, next
to the Ambrose Channel and the New Jersey
side next to the Sandy Hook Channel). Other times we may be down the
beach off of Long Branch,
Deal or Belmar dunking bunker or trolling bunker spoons or rigs.
Being located in the Leonardo State Marina , Leonardo N.J. (2 miles
before AtlanticHighlands
and Highlands)
enables us to easily reach all of these hot spots. Our commitment to
you is to always go where the fish are… period!!
